On appearances, Gage is everything Chaise wants in a partner\u2014until, without warning, he ghosts Chaise in favor of going back to his ex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the pain and a broken heart, Chaise can\u2019t let go, in spite of the advice of Aaron and his friends. Sometime later, when he is scheduled for back surgery, he texts Gage, who responds. He falls right back into Gage\u2019s manipulations, only to have Gage ghost him a second time.
